Tech giant Amazon is planning to ramp up its efforts on its online education portal AWS Educate. It follows closely on how LinkedIn is integrating its flagship talent recruitment offerings with online education post the acquisition of Lynda. Especially in developing markets such as India or China such offerings should have lots of users. AWS Educate could eventually be used up by organizations to aid with their corporate training programmes. Professional training will be imparted in fields such as – cloud architect, software development and analytics. It has already inked agreements to generate job opportunities from organizations such as Salesforce, Udacity, Cloudnexa and of course Amazon itself. AWS has already achieved success at markets such as South Korea, USA, Japan and Singapore. AWS is the latest offering in the education space from Amazon having earlier launched Inspire, a platform for such resources.
