Ten new companies have been added as lighthouses to the list after the meeting in Dalian in China, for the Annual Meeting of the New Champions. This project is jointly run by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and McKinsey, which of course is a global management consulting leader. The organizations identified as lighthouses are those that are driving the ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). These companies often have common work areas such as the collaboration between UPS and Fast Radius, already functional. The new lot in addition to those identified earlier, together are driving the paradigm shift in marketing. They need to ensure that they do not get sucked in to what is called the “Pilot Purgatory”, which is a situation of a pilot study from where 4IR firms cannot scale up.
