MANAGING in the

NEW WORLD

There are times at any workplace, that superior, peers or even subordinates do need to provide some tough feedback to certain individuals. This must not come out as condescending or domineering, but as something to truly uplift those individuals. Before any feedback session with a subordinate, the manager must do some self- introspection on what exactly must be outcomes on the meeting. A brief round of meditation is known to help. Openness is really important at such meetings, as that will forge a high- quality connection. There also exist some specific corporate training programmes that use a problem- solving process to deliver such individual feedback. Questions may be posed, and ideas shared. Further steps to take, could also be plotted.
