Hardheadedness seems to be a common malaise these days. Even when evidence points to the contrary, there are many who will stick to their rationale. As opposed to what many think, having the ability to change one’s mind actually makes the person appear wiser. A study conducted clearly showed, how more than three- fourths of all entrepreneurs surveyed, fell in to this trap of not wanting to change their beliefs. There are tomes however, when changing one’s mind to often can genuinely be seen as fickle- mindedness. It typically happens during talent recruitment, that candidates should be advised not to change their stance too often. Team leaders must also curate an environment where employees get more thoughtful, so they can change their views without any loss of face.
