Vacations or breaks continue to provide relief from stress to most workers. In fact, it has been widely understood that vacations must be enjoyed in pristine form away from all work related distractions. The trend of smartphones intruding upon personal lives while on holiday is detrimental for long term intellectual growth. Business innovation is stymied as a result of not resting mind and thus not being fresh during the actual work. Creativity suffers as a result if the mind is never unplugged off.
