The New York University is planning a special robotics and AI summit in Abu Dhabi in the NYUAD campus. AI and robotics is now used across the board, but it is not known as to what are the limits of these technologies, and till where shall we let it grow. In particular what is to be debated is the ethical considerations of using robotics on large scale. The UAE is the country within the GCC (Gulf Cooperative Council) region with the highest usage of such technologies. There are very few people in the world right now, pegged at around ten-thousand who could be considered experts of such technologies. So, talent recruitment norms, will need to be tweaked worldwide in order to capture the best of such minds. If done right, then the interaction between humans and humanoids ought to be more fruitful.
