As shocking as it may sound, algorithms based on Big Data have started getting used to write articles. Some publications have already published stories created by machines but have not disclosed the fact to the readers, not knowing what their reactions would be like once they came to know of it. Just as any other outrageous modern innovation such as driverless cars, it is most important to first earn the customers’ trust. Quill and Automated Insights are two such applications that have been used up by media outlets. One of the founders of Natural Science that has created Quill has even semi- jokingly remarked that within the next five years, the app will be able to create Pulitzer Prize winning content.
