According to one of the top bosses of Coursera, a full length graduation course will soon be developed for the online model. The technology is already in place but a change in mentality and perception is required to move away from the personalized tuition model. Coursera is one of the biggest players in this as so is EdX which is dispersing Arizona State University courses on its online platform. So far, only short term courses or certifications useful for management training were available using such platform as MOOCs. But soon a full blown MBA or other course will be available online. This will particularly aid a country such as India where not enough infrastructure exists to support the massive educational requirements in the country. It can also be an ideal tool to empower refuges displaced from Syria.
