MANAGING in the

NEW WORLD

Business consulting provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) says that work is the single biggest need for stress. Some measures have been suggested in order to cope with the same by building resilience at the workplace. The concept of mindfulness must be applied and practiced by individual employees. The cognitive or intellectual load must be balanced over time. Periodic breaks must be taken. It could be in the form of holidays or simply powernaps in between work. There is even a process by which one can develop mental agility. It implies the sort of flexibility where one can switch on and off in between work. Finally, being compassionate is always a good idea. To show that one can join some volunteering assignments as that will educate the employee about life on the other side.
