Some organizations get their corporate culture correct to the extent it reflects positively on the corporate strategy. The two get aligned well together. At PwC for example, the generation gap among various employees gets bridged by certain programmes. The Baby Boomer generation used to consider the Millennials as self absorbed until it was made to understand the latter were equally committed to the organization even if they were stress averse. General Electric (GE) meanwhile is now focusing on agility at work. The company says that constant transformation has been the norm over its one hundred and thirty year history which has seen many changes or upheavals. Google’s culture of fostering business innovation has been enshrined from the founding of the organization itself. Its flat hierarchy has forever emphasized upon doing away with unnecessary procedures.
