MANAGING in the

NEW WORLD

Workplaces are for many people similar to marriages. Negativity and lack of encouragement can entail a person to leave the job similar to how those same emotions on a greater scale can spell divorces. Emotions commonly cited for leaving jobs are disappointment, strong negativity including anger or ridicule and indirect negativity where the bad was focused instead of the positives. Couples who have better understanding to even laugh off arguments are the ones who eventually stay together. Similarly, at jobs it is essential to balance off the positives as opposed to negatives. Thus talent management professionals must seek to focus on the positives and manage to show a sense of empathy towards poor performances or character traits usually not appreciated.
