A lot of senior executives have this bad habit of failing to live up to commitments, not out of any mal intention but simply due to forgetfulness. To rectify this, a senior executive at Microsoft with his team developed an Artificial Intelligence (AI) aided software by which any commitments made would get reminded by Friday. This same feature has now got a facelift as it is being used in Microsoft’s digital assistant Cortana through its “commitments” feature soon to be rolled out. It took longer than envisaged earlier to launch this as several algorithms had to be re-jigged. In the future, such an offering could be used to track enormous amounts of data to eventually provide serious business intelligence for marketers.
