Speaker: Mr. Kamal Nath (Minister of Urban Development) and Kumari Selja (Minister of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation),Mr. Sugata Roy(Honorable Minister of State for Urban Development) and Mr Arun Maira(Hon’ble minister of Planning Commission.

On 24th and 25th November. 2011, one of the members of “Skyline Corporate Connect Team” –Ms Marshneil Marshall attended “CREDAI CONCLAVE 2011” held at Taj Palace, New Delhi. “Mission transparency” was the motto of the event. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Kamal Nath (Minister of Urban Development) and Kumari Selja (Minister of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation).Many people from real estate industry from all over the country attended the conclave. Along with all the CREDAI state president from all over the country.

Following were the major topics of discussion:-

1. The new land Acquisition act by the Government of India.
2. The time taken for each project to be passed by the Government authorities, for which the CREDAI members proposed the idea of one window concept for all the approvals to avoid the delay in project completion.
3. Lack of skilled labour and professional in the real estate Sector.
4. How to meet the increasing demand of houses and office space.
5. How to efficiently use the available land for the building purpose without causing much harm to the fertile agricultural land.

The seminar gave a distinct vision & understanding of investment & its opportunities. On the whole the seminar was very engrossing & interesting. All in all it was a very edifying and enlightening seminar which gave a brief outlook on Real estate business.
