Linked-in in today’s corporate world has become an essential fragment in job search and professional networking.
Linked in has 150 million users all over the world and in US, 80% of recruitments are done through this site. Therefore it has become the need of the hour to have the perfect linked – in profile as we are the potential job seekers and what better than a seminar on it. The basic purpose of the site is to allow registered users to maintain a list of contact details of people with whom they have some level of relationship, called Connections. Users can invite anyone to become a connection.
LinkedIn allows users to research companies with which they may be interested in working. The seminar helped us know the need of a good linked-in profile which is nothing but to “sell yourself”. All in the entire seminar was highly edifying.
