The 2nd year BBA students along with the MBA students, visited Tzinga(energy drink) factory at IMT Manesar ,Haryana as a part of their Institute-Industry Interface. The objective of this visit was to provide practical insight of the working environment as well as of the production process, packaging, operation and supply management. The students got exposure of training and development practices at Hector beverages.The bus left the college premises at 9 am. It was an enriching experience for the students as they got a detailed overview of the production process.Students were made to wear mask, plastic hair cap and plastic shoe cover for sanitation purposes and were also made to wash their hands before entering the factory.The production process takes atleast 3-4 hours which includes instilling the juce in the containers, sterilization,cooling and then packaging. Each carton carries 6 litres of juice.Tzinga is manufactured by Indian startup company hector beverages limited and has 3 variants i.e. lemon mint ,tropical trip and mango strawberry.

Witnessing the manufacturing process from one’s own eyes is an unforgettable experience. The students were then taken around the factory and each process was explained to them in easy to understand and clear manner. The students could see for themselves how efficiently, hygienically and smoothly Tzinga was carrying out its manufacturing operation. After this, a question and answer session was held where all questions asked by the management were answered to their complete satisfaction. All in all, the industrial visit to Hector beverages factory was a success as students could relate to the management concepts discussed in the classroom with the latest industrial practices used to enhance the skills of students.
