Like every other year, this year too, the Airport Service Quality Awards have been presented as decided by the Airports Council International. This was a detailed tourism consulting assignment taken up with thorough research across all major markets. They were divided in to four categories, in terms of arrival numbers. The first category is for airports with between five and fifteen million passengers. The next is for between fifteen and twenty- five million of them. The third one stretches up to forty million passengers, while the last one further exceeds the forty million category. Each of these categories is then further divided as per region. Africa, Europe, North America, Asia Pacific and Latin America- Caribbean are the regions. Only three of these regions is for the top category.
