Talent management is a particularly precarious task during transition phase for organizations. A lot of managers in order to impose transformation, put in extra loopholes into processes. However the idea of change is now to increase complexities but rather to improve processes. Recruitment of new people and retention of valuable employees attains critical importance during such times. Succession planning also becomes important at such times. Not all employees will be able to survive this period of changes. New processes and technologies will limit some positions, eventually even rendering certain spots are irrelevant.
