The basic concept of the seminar was financial planning. Mr. Sushil Alewa wanted to touch upon the sensitive topic about the financial illiteracy prevalent in our country. He explained that investing money in the market is essential to enable it to grow. Indians are more interested in Fixed Deposits & Real Estate rather than the Capital Market which most still do not trust.

Some financially savvy students then asked questions on Tax Saving. The speaker then explained some modules of tax savings. Mr. Alewa also discussed about various investment tools. The session was wrapped up by explaining few points about SEBI & what exactly that organization does.
