Taking Indian Media and Entertainment Industry to UDS 100 mn

Students of Skyline Business School attended the Big Picture Summit at Hotel Taj Palace,New DelhiConfederation of Indian Industry presents the second edition of The Big Picture Summit. It was CII’s annual flagship event for the Media and Entertainment sector and one of the biggest Media & Entertainment industry’s gathering in the country. CII’s vision is to bring together the best of the creative and business minds to chalk out a roadmap that would take our M&E sector to $100 billion. The government, regulator, academia and civil society joined the discussion in this years’ summit slated for September 13-14, 2013 at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi, India. The last years’ summit was successful and best minds (within and outside India) sharing their vision. . Embracing innovation in Media & Entertainment was the theme at the summit. India is currently ranked 14th in the global M&E value chain and growing at annual growth of 17%. Can we achieve $100 billion in this decade for the Indian M&E Sector? We are converging industry leaders at the summit to deliberate on the rapidly changing media landscape and road ahead for the M&E verticals. India has created perhaps one of the most liberal media regimes in the world. India is top in the radar of the global M&E boardrooms.
