Google is planning to expand its footprints in the travel industry. It plans to be the final one- stop solution where all travel- related services can be worked out. Its latest business innovation allows travelers to rent apartments. For this, it has tied up with the likes of Expedia, VRBO, Home away, Trip Advisor, Redawning and with hotels.com. As per this arrangement, entire houses too may be rented. One city that has already been entered in it is Amsterdam. Airbnb already occupies a substantial portion of the traveler segment thanks to its no- frills set up. Google had worked on vacation rentals earlier, but there were fewer opportunities back then in 2017.
