The city of Turkestan is now easily recognized as one of the gems of the Central Asian region. Part of Kazakhstan, Turkestan is full of historical wonders. Some of the most important spots include the Tomb of Baidibek, Mausoleum of Ahmed Yasavi and the Domalak- Ana Mazar. Turkestan can also be a base for nearby spots such as the city of Sauran. This city is famous for its loneliness, as it is an abandoned spot. It was once the metropolis, at the heart of a global trading network. The Akmeshit Cave and the Boralday are some more touristy spots. Leveraging these and several more spots will help the country Kazakhstan generate numerous tourism jobs.
