While most professionals nowadays seem adept at social media, not too many are making the best use of the professional networking and talent recruitment platform- LinkedIn. However, a recent study has claimed that creativity can be much boosted by interacting with newer people on the said platform. Online Social Connectivity (OSC) and the related Online Social Knowledge Management (OSKM) are two related ingredients necessary for today’s professionals. Newer ideas emerge when interacting with these new friends on LinkedIn. A number of companies profess a code of conduct for employees to abide by on social media, especially during work hours.
