Among the many reasons cited for the dismally few numbers of women at the very top of the corporate ladder, one is their apparently relative lack of networking skills. This has also been explained by the fact that men traditionally dominating from the top, tend to mingle better with other men, thus creating such an unequal pipeline. Some women though, do end up establishing strong professional networks along the way. One prerequisite in doing so, is to be efficient at work. Another trait such women display is to be nimble and agile in their working styles. Their networks are not only vast, but also sufficiently boundary spanning. As these women display good talent management skills, so their networks cover people from different companies, industries, levels and even demographics. They also display a balanced energy output.
