Once the digital age becomes overwhelming, professionals will need to develop further competencies in order merely to survive. The Gen Z and some millennials are broadly being seen as Gen Mobile now. Some skills have been identified which will help individuals survive and even thrive during this digital age. A 1950s principle known as KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) applies even today. Now, there is an even greater need for the said Simplicity. Another is Individuality. This is because too many people are now following the same trends, those with an individuality, are more likely to generate and then work upon business innovations. The third is to proactively develop networks. A study has confirmed that face- to- face meetings are thirty- four times more effective in sealing business deals, so networks come very much handy.
