Storytelling has become a powerful tool to connect to audiences in the digital age. In order to practise great business storytelling, certain tips have been assembled. First of all, the right story must be selected for the occasion. These stories may be divided into four types- success, failure, funny and legendary. Before advocating for any story, it is essential that the speaker or the company he/she represents must be aware of their own story in order to keep engagement levels high. Gone is the age of simple storytelling. Stuff for business needs to be backed by numbers, and information gets cemented better through data visualizations. Occasionally, even ridiculous or stupid stories work to up the engagement.
