A study was recently conducted to understand from the business leaders themselves, on the most important leadership competencies. All the major leadership competencies have been grouped under five key headings. The most important one is possessing of strong ethics and safety. Another is the ability at self- organizing. Such people also need to themselves be efficient learners, and facilitate an environment for the same. Management training and leadership development sessions need to be facilitated organized by such a leader. The next one is to nurture organizational as well as personnel growth. New ideas too need to be embraced by the said leader. A sense of connection and belonging needs to be fostered within the organization.
