It is apparently the answer to complicated relationships, as exemplified across movies catering to this generation. Millennials apparently value experiences over material possessions. Yet, with time even these backpacking joints and youth hostels have become standardized across the planet. While the digital nomad was supposed to be the envy of regular office-goers, now this kind of a profile too has become commonplace. Digital marketing teams have leveraged these individuals to be influencers for various travel and hospitality brands. Reports even suggest that tourism is today responsible for a tenth of the world’s pollution.
