Skyline Business School: A 18 year old B school

At Skyline, the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) course is taught with specialized and in depth knowledge in International Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Finance, Tourism and Human Resources Management.

The Skyline business school offers a UGC recognised PGDM Degree integrated with the Industry to help you be productive at your workplace from day one.

Selecting a B School—-

Selecting a good Business School is a difficult choice when we find them in hundreds. You should do a good research before selecting the right B School. It is safer to look for Institutes with a proven track record during your selection. The B school should have good reputation for imparting quality management education. This, it can only earn with years of existence. It is hence safer to select an established institute – say in existence for more than 10 years. One should evaluate the four critical factors for selecting your Business School – Placement, location, cost, or value for money and reputation which comes with years of effort, placement, location and cost.

Skyline Pedagogy—

At Skyline, the pedagogy involves introducing students to research methodology, critical thinking and developing analytical skills.  From Management education perspective we recognize that Business School Management education is a practice oriented field by design, unlike a pure science domain.  Almost all areas covered in management education involve some level of research and analysis during normal teaching, so that the gap between theoretical concepts and practical application is filled immediately.  Hence our Business School develops a mindset for primary and secondary research, analytics and critical study as a way of living.

Specializations and Recognition—

Traditionally Business Schools involved functional specialization where one studied Marketing, Finance, HR or Operations Management. As the drivers of business changed, additional specializations were introduced such as I.T., SCM, and International Business. Trend in current decade is towards sector specialization – with introduction of courses such as PGDM – retail, infrastructure, real estate, energy, aviation, banking, financial market, Telecom etc.

Skyline PGDM courses is from a UGC recognized Indian University with specialization in Marketing, Finance, International Business, Human Resources Management, Tourism, Information Systems, Retail Operations and Banking. With our placements results stand us in Top PGDM Delhi and PGDM India Institute lane. Allied subjects taught in our PGDM Classes: Economics, Quantitative Methods, Accounting, HRM.Skyline Business School has entered into a Business School Partnership with AIMA for offering students the AICTE approved PGDM with specialisations in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Information Systems and Operations Management. This programme is available from February 2011.

Skyline Corporate Readiness Programme—

Our Business School students undergo a Corporate Readiness Programme which includes oral communication skills, body language and dress codes, corporate etiquette and interview skills as well. The PGDM course at our Business School is designed to quickly and thoroughly prepare students for a career in a global business environment. A successful PGDM career demands an understanding of the fast changing economic and social fabric.

Admission Parameters—

For admissions, the Business School assesses a student on following parameters – academics, competitive exam score, performance in group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI).Our placements results stand us in Top PGDM Delhi and PGDM India Institute rankings. Allied subjects taught in our PGDM Classes: Economics, Quantitative Methods, Accounting, HRM.
